Female firefighters welcomed aboard in Iran

In Iran, female firefighters are set to start fighter-fighting operations in 2023.

After passing their practical and theoretical training, 16 female firefighters will be ready to be inducted into the Tehran fire department.

The recruitment process for these forces started after necessary permits were obtained from authorities in 2020.

Iranian women will be among the first women in the Middle East to be certified as professional firefighters.

Just like their male counterparts, Iranian female firefighters put their lives on the line to help save lives and protect property.

This will be a step toward supporting and promoting women in male-dominated jobs.
